SUMMER CAMP POSITIONS
CAMP COUNSELOR:
Must be 16 years of age by June 30th
CIT (Counselor-In-Training):
Must be 15 years of age by June 30th
VOLUNTEER:
Must be 13 or 14 years of age by June 30th AND entering 9th Grade in the fall of upcoming school year
Upon hire - $100 fee for first-year volunteer, or $50 fee for returning volunteer
WATERFRONT LIFEGUARD:
Must be 18 years of age
COPY OF current Waterfront Lifeguard Certification
UPON HIRE, the following documentation is required no later than June 3rd:
- Signed Contract (provided to you by office upon notification of hire)
- Permission Slip signed by Parent/Legal Guardian (up to age 17)
- Retirement Questionnaire
- Putnam County Application
- COPY OF Working Papers (Note - please be sure to provide the correct working papers according to your age - 14/15 or 16/17 years old)
- COPY OF Immunization Records (up to age 25)
- COPY OF valid Driver's License (if applicable)
- COPY OF Social Security Card
- COPY OF Medical Insurance Card
- Form W-4 (Tax Withholding)
- Form I-9 (Alien Status)
